A Backyard Boatbuilder's Diary

It was the summer of 1997, we were cruising down the Thames, moving our Narrowboat from Droitwich to Penton Hook, when I first saw a Slipper launch. I was so impressed with it's elegant lines, I promised myself then and there that one day I would have to own one. Five years on and I've decided to build one. What follows is a record of this project. When it's finished this backdrop will change to feature my boat. Until then you'll know I'm still working on it!
